I hope to help you connect to your inner life, build resilience, create more choices for you to respond to what life presents, and move towards creating the life you desire.
I will work with you to create a therapeutic relationship that provides you with a safe and holding environment, where you feel seen, heard and supported. Together we will build a safe foundation for personal transformation.
Style and Modalities
My therapeutic style helps you heal by unlearning and undoing maladaptive conditioning and patterns that are no longer serving you. The first step to undoing these unconscious patterns is awareness. Another aspect of the healing journey is to allow what is present to surface and be felt, which requires building resources that have not been available to you in the past. Change occurs when we simultaneously accept who we are AND move towards new ways of being.
I call upon a range of theories and modalities. Some of these include Trauma, Attachment, Multicultural and Relational theories, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Buddhist psychology, Eco-psychology, Dance/Movement, Mindfulness and Somatic modalities. My therapeutic approach is flexible, creative, and collaborative. Together we will identify your goals and the approach that works best for you.
